Emily Watches Too Much Television

Hey guys, it's been two whole years since I started this blog! WOO! Can you believe it? Where has the time gone? When I first started, I was only recapping Season 3A of Teen Wolf , and I had 99 page views in the first month. Since then, I've had almost 160,000 page views for over 110 recaps of Teen Wolf, The Originals, The Vampire Diaries , and a few episodes of Suits , which is pretty incredible for a nobody like me! So, thank you all so  much for sticking around, reading my recaps, and leaving comments about what you think! Since there are over a hundred posts now, I thought I'd start an archive page in order to make it a little easier to find what you're looking for. I know that Blogger is pretty great about making all of the blog posts accessible on the right-hand sidebar, but I figured since they're all kind of scrambled up-- thanks to juggling several shows at once and my laissez-faire attitude regarding my own self-imposed deadlines-- that it might be he...

Alright guys, before we dig into this recap, I just wanted to update you on what to expect over the next couple weeks! Now that I'm out of school for the summer and my main job is just studying for my nursing license exam, I have WAY more time to catch up on these recaps! SO, I'll be knocking out the rest of this season of The Originals first, and then I will be starting a new thing I'd like to call "Emily Re-watches Season 5 of TVD," because it would be silly at this point to pretend like we all don't already know what has gone down on the show ever since I took my sabbatical from writing  TVD recaps. So, I'll be revisiting the last half of this season of TVD , only instead of my usual recap format, we're going to be looking back on what happened in terms of everything we know as of the show's finale, "Home," which is due to air this week. THEN, hopefully, I'll be done catching up on both those shows by June 24, which is when Teen...

So, to say I'm a little behind on recapping would be an understatement. To be fair, Thanksgiving was the kickoff to a super-busy last few weeks. After the holiday stuff was over, I got sucked into finals hell, and my boyfriend, who is in the military and currently stationed 1,000 miles away from here, was finally able to come home for the first time in nearly a year, so I've hardly had enough time to watch my shows, let alone blog about them! BUT, now I am on break, so the last two recaps of bothThe Vampire Diaries and The Originals should be up within the next week or so! Also, Teen Wolf Season 3B is starting on January 6th, and I am hoping very hard to continue recapping it as well, so keep your eyes out for those recaps, TW fans! Sorry for the delay! My plan for this blog this summer was to recap the line-up of shows I planned on watching: Teen Wolf , Graceland , and Suits , with the possibility of maybe doing some retroactive recaps and/or discussion of TV shows I love that are currently on hiatus. As you can see, I've only written about Teen Wolf thus far. I had high hopes for Graceland , I really did. The cast is beautiful and talented, and I'm a sucker for crime procedurals too, so I figured this would be a match made in heaven. Unfortunately, that hasn't seemed to be the case. I watched the first two episodes when they aired, and I have been unable to force myself to watch the rest yet. The premise is neat enough to keep me interested, despite the promising premise-- a bunch of different special agents from various federal agencies living together and working undercover. The story lines are so unrealistic that it has been totally taking me out of the story, and I end up having more complaints about stupid detail...
